(주)디오코와 (주)서울치과기공소 MOU 체결

3차원(3D) 기술을 활용한 교정장치 제작 기술 연구 및 서비스 사업 분야 협력이 목적

(주)디오코 (대표이사 진용규, 이하 디오코)와 (주)서울치과기공소(소장 박옥희, 정연호)가 7월 19일 수원 영통 디오코 본사에서 3차원(이하 3D) 기술을 활용한 교정장치 제작 기술 연구 및 서비스 사업 분야 협력을 위한 목적으로 양해각서(MOU)를 체결했다.

이날 협약으로 양 기관은 ▲ 3D를 활용한 치과 교정장치 제작 기술 연구 및 평가 ▲ 3D를 활용한 치과 교정장치 제공 서비스 사업화 등 치과 및 기공소에서 쉽게 활용할 수 있는 3D 기반의 다양한 장치 및 서비스의 사업화에 협력해 나가기로 했다.

디오코 진용규 대표이사는 "국내 유일 치과 교정용 3D 소프트웨어 개발 전문 업체 디오코의 기술력과 국내 최고 교정장치 전문가 그룹 서울기공소의 임상 경험을 결합해 디지털 교정장치 제작 및 서비스의 저변화에 앞장서 나가겠다"라고 밝혔다.

서울치과기공소 박옥희 소장은 "이번 협약을 통해 투명교정장치를 비롯한 3D 시스템을 활용한 다양한 교정 장치 제작의 표준화가 이뤄질 수 있도록 적극 협조하겠다"라고 밝혔다.

디오코는 15년 이상의 치과 분야 SW 개발 전문가들로 구성되어 있으며, 세계 최초 실시간 충돌 처리 기술을 적용한 3D 교정 소프트웨어 Autolign 및 2D 교정 소프트웨어 SmartCeph를 개발한 교정 분야에 특화된 전문 회사이며, 서울치과기공소는 전국 9개 지점이 있는 26년의 경력의 교정 전문 기공소로 기존 교정 관련 기공물 제작 기술에 디지털 소프트웨어를 결합함으로써 보다 빠르고 정확한 교정장치의 공급이 기대된다.

DIORCO CO., LTD. (CEO: JIN Yong-Kyu) and I.O.LAB (Chief Manager: PARK Ok-Hee and JUNG Yeon-Ho) will work together to broaden the foundation of digital orthodontic devices production services.

DIORCO CO., LTD. And I.O.LAB signed an MOU on July 19th, 2019 at DIORCO’s office in Suwon to collaborate on research, production and commercialize service of digital orthodontic devices using 3D technology.

Both companies will cooperate with MOU to research and analyze 3D digital orthodontic devices and commercialize 3D digital orthodontic devices services that can be used in dental clinics and laboratories

JIN Yong-Kyu, CEO of DIORCO Co,. LTD said “We will dissolve clinical experience of I.O.LAB into software and take the lead in expanding 3D digital orthodontic device production and services”.

PARK Ok-Hee, Chief Manager of I.O.LAB also said “We will cooperate to standardize production of orthodontic devices using 3D technology.

DIORCO CO., LTD is a company specializing in orthodontic solutions development with more than 15 years of experience in this particular area. They have developed ‘Autolign’ World’s first 3D diagnosis and simulation software based on real-time collision technology and ‘SmartCeph’ 2D orthodontic software.

July 19th 2019 Mr. Winai of PW PLUS (Thailand) visited our office to witness the whole process of creating clear aligner production using AUTOLIGN. Mrs. Park and Mr. Kim from I.O.Lab whom signed MOU with Diorco also joined demonstration with PW PLUS.


I live a simple life where I go to work and come back home not bound to time. I usually get small enlightenment from my reads. Sell ‘Value’ instead of ‘functions’ Questions I keep ask myself are Who am I, what values can I offer with my career, what can I do and What should I do. We must continue ask ourselves about finding happiness in the workplace with our members.

I read one book, I discovered simple, yet big difference of an excellent Show host and the opposite. Excellent show host sells ‘value’ while the other one sells ‘functions’.

For example, Typical show hosts are busy selling clothes with only explaining its features and functions. Buttons of clothes, what kind of fabric, how it is better than other brands. But good host thinks of values that imbues the customers who wears it.

He imbues idea of self-esteem and focus to sell that to customers.

If you promote hearing aid with functions, it is merely a tool with 100 frequency response per second. But if you promote its values, it is quality of life of one person with hearing problems.

Learning Different language as function means fluent conversation with others, but if you sell value of learning new language, it is window to boundless space beyond and you get to see people all around the world. Mont Blanc sells the value of “Symbol of Success”. If you promote smartphones with functions, it is wider screen, bigger storage and better camera but if you sell values, it may be “freedom” or “communication”.

However, Most of people sell ‘functions. With my career, I meet a lot of sales people, but more than 90 % Sales professional focus on ‘functions’. Only 10% of them focus on the ‘Value’

We of all people does sale every day even though you might not be a sales person. We sell our values to get jobs and to get love. Your university and your GPA are functions. What is your real value that hidden under all those social requirements? If you focus on that you might get your dream jobs and loves you seek dearly.

Functions are material like. What intangible values can I offer to others? What is my value? Well, Lets think about that.
